- Conduct quality control inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions to prevent quality issues from recurring.
- Monitor and track quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and report on progress to management.
- Participate in the development and review of product specifications and requirements to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct supplier audits and provide support in supplier selection and qualification processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance in all quality-related activities.
- Train and mentor junior quality engineers on quality processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Participate in customer and regulatory audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into the design and production processes.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related issues and resolutions.
- Maintain and update quality documentation and records in accordance with company standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Quality Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry
Knowledge And Experience With As9100 Or Other Quality Management Systems
Strong Understanding Of Quality Tools And Methodologies Such As Six Sigma, Lean, And Statistical Process Control
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
