Proficiency In Pcb Design Software: A Qualified Pwb Layout Designer Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience With Industry-Standard Pcb Design Tools Such As Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Or Mentor Graphics Pads.
Knowledge Of Pcb Manufacturing Processes: The Ability To Understand And Apply Design Rules For Pcb Fabrication, Assembly, And Testing Is Essential For A Pwb Layout Designer. This Includes Knowledge Of Standard Pcb Materials, Stack-Up Design, And Surface Mount Technology (Smt) Components.
