- Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and support the global supply chain for Rockwell Collins.
- Conduct market research and analyze supplier capabilities to identify potential partnerships and cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to identify and mitigate potential procurement risks.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and track supplier performance to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Train and mentor junior procurement team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support.
- Proactively identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Knowledge Of Procurement Processes, Including Sourcing, Negotiation, And Contract Management.
Experience In Leading And Managing A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders, And Cross-Functional Teams.
