Principal Signals Software Engineer

Rockwell Collins is seeking an experienced, motivated, and creative Principal Signals Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of the aerospace industry. As a Principal Signals Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating software for cutting-edge aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of signal processing, software development, and system integration, as well as a passion for tackling challenging problems and creating elegant solutions.Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; at least 8 years of professional experience in software development; experience in developing embedded real-time software; proficiency in C/C++ and/or MATLAB; knowledge of signal processing algorithms; and experience with software development life cycles. Experience with DO-178/DO-254, radar processing, and multi-threaded/multi-core software development is preferred, but not required.We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, is passionate about technology, and can work both independently and collaboratively.
