  • Manage and oversee all aspects of projects related to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) systems, from conception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and technicians to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify the most effective and efficient methods for achieving project objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Continuously assess and improve project processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in space technology and incorporate them into project plans when appropriate.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Space Systems Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Space Systems Engineering, With A Focus On Low Earth Orbit (Leo) Systems. This Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Satellite Design And Development, Launch Operations, And Ground Segment Systems.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: As A Principal Project Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Managing Various Projects Within The Space Systems Division. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Make Critical Decisions.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Space Systems And Leo Operations. This Includes Knowledge Of Fcc Regulations, Itu Rules, And Industry Best Practices For Satellite Design And Operations.

  • Proficiency In Systems Engineering Processes: The Principal Project Engineer Will Be Responsible For Overseeing The Entire Systems Engineering Process, From Concept To Delivery. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Systems Engineering Processes, Including Requirements Management, System Architecture, And Verification And Validation.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Role Of A Principal Project Engineer Requires Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Information To A Variety Of Stakeholders, Both Internal And External. They Should Also Be Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Project Success.
