Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Optical Engineering Or Related Field: A Principal Optical Engineer Should Possess At Least A Master's Degree In Optical Engineering, Physics Or A Related Field. This Education Provides The Necessary Foundation In Advanced Optics, Electromagnetics, And Photonics Needed For This Role.

  • Extensive Experience In Optronics: A Successful Principal Optical Engineer Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Optronics. This Experience Should Include Designing And Developing Complex Optical Systems, As Well As A Deep Understanding Of Opto-Mechanical Design Principles.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Optronics, Such As Mil-Std, Ansi, And Iso. This Knowledge Is Necessary For Ensuring Compliance And Meeting Customer Requirements.

  • Proficiency In Optical Design Software: A Principal Optical Engineer Should Have Extensive Experience With Optical Design Software, Such As Zemax, Code V, Or Opticstudio. Proficiency In These Tools Is Critical For Designing And Optimizing Complex Optical Systems.

  • Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Principal Optical Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing Teams To Develop And Deliver Optronics Solutions. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Communicate, Delegate Tasks, And Meet Project Deadlines.
