  1. Manage and maintain all Linux and Windows systems for the company.
  2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  3. Implement technical solutions to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  4. Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve any system-related problems.
  6. Maintain system documentation and keep it up-to-date.
  7. Proactively identify potential system vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures.
  8. Continuously monitor system backups and disaster recovery plans.
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to understand their system needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Linux and Windows systems administration.
  11. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to system administration.
  13. Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  14. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to support systems and troubleshoot issues.
  15. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Ts Clearance: The First And Most Important Qualification For This Role Is A Current Ts (Top Secret) Clearance, Which Is Necessary To Work With Sensitive Government Information And Systems.

  • Extensive Experience With Linux And Windows Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Both Linux And Windows Operating Systems, Including Their Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Principal System Administrator, This Individual Will Not Only Be Responsible For Managing And Maintaining Critical Systems, But Also For Leading A Team Of Other Administrators. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Success: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Success In Managing And Maintaining Complex Systems, Preferably In A Government Or Military Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills: Effective Communication And Problem-Solving Skills Are Critical For This Role, As The Principal System Administrator Will Need To Collaborate With Other Team Members, Communicate With Stakeholders, And Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues.
