- Design and implement complex FPGA designs for aerospace and defense applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Lead the design and verification process for FPGA designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Use industry best practices to optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and cost.
- Evaluate and select appropriate FPGA components and technologies for each project.
- Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs and provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in FPGA technology and incorporate them into designs.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of FPGA designs into larger systems.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation for all aspects of FPGA design.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver quality designs within specified deadlines.
- Communicate project updates and progress to project managers and stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior engineers on FPGA design best practices and techniques.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall design quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to FPGA design and development.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols while working on sensitive defense projects.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 8 Years Experience In Fpga Design And Development.
Strong Knowledge Of Vhdl And/Or Verilog Programming Languages.
Experience With Xilinx And/Or Altera Fpga Development Tools.
Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Fpga Design Engineers, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
