- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality of production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Conduct time studies and analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Participate in new product development and provide input on design for manufacturability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and decrease waste.
- Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Train and mentor team members on new processes and procedures.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to resolve production issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans for manufacturing operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Manufacturing Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
Strong Knowledge And Experience With Manufacturing Processes, Such As Machining, Assembly, And Testing.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As As9100 And Faa Requirements.
Proficient In Cad Software And Other Engineering Tools, As Well As Project Management Skills.
