
Government Property Administrator
Rockwell Collins is in search of a Government Property Administrator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing exceptional customer service. The position requires a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.To qualify for this role, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of experience in property administration and/or asset management. Experience with government-funded contracts, familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) requirements, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of government-funded property and assets, ensuring compliance with FAR and DFAR requirements.
- Monitor inventory and arrange for disposal of excess property.
- Manage the acquisition, receipt, transfer, and disposal of government-funded property in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic physical inventories of government-funded property and assets.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure that property is properly safeguarded and accounted for.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to government-funded property.
- Prepare reports and documents related to government-funded property and assets.
- Manage the processing of government-funded contracts and related invoices.
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
