  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the design and construction of Rockwell Collins' facilities.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and incorporate them into facility plans.
  3. Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to determine the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for new construction or renovation projects.
  4. Create detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring all construction and renovation projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  5. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the design and construction process, including working with architects, engineers, contractors, and other vendors.
  6. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design plans and safety regulations.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality work.
  8. Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and progress reports to upper management.
  9. Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in architecture, construction, and project management to continuously improve facility planning and design processes.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members in facility planning and construction.
  12. Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  13. Promote a culture of safety and compliance in all facility planning and construction activities.
  14. Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and community members, to address any concerns or issues related to facility planning and construction.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Architecture, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Planning And Estimating, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry.

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software And Facilities Management Software.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Codes, Regulations, And Standards Related To The Design And Construction Of Facilities.
