The Assistant Controller role has been created with the intent of grooming the person into Controller. Your responsibilities will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:
- Preparing month-end close.
- Supervising accounting department.
- Partnering with external parties (external auditors and attorneys) in order to meet timely reporting deadlines.
- Preparing monthly investor reporting package.
- Reviewing contracts and loan documents.
- Preparing monthly budgets and forecasts.
