1. Dispense and accurately label prescription medications to patients in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving any medication-related concerns or questions from patients.
3. Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to develop individualized treatment plans and recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications and supplements.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles.
5. Monitor and review medication therapy to ensure safe and effective use, and make appropriate recommendations or interventions as needed.
6. Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
7. Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies.
8. Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
9. Stay current on new drugs, therapies, and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
10. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
12. Participate in training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
13. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following proper sanitation and safety protocols.
