1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescription orders and Rite Aid policies and procedures.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their prescription and over-the-counter medication needs.
3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for customers.
4. Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of therapy.
5. Counsel customers on the proper use and potential side effects of medications.
6. Maintain accurate and organized records of all prescription orders and patient information.
7. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of medications.
8. Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
9. Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new medications, treatments, and pharmacy practices.
11. Foster a positive and professional work environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with other team members.
12. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
13. Stay updated on Rite Aid promotions and programs to inform and educate customers.
14. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
15. Act as a role model for ethical and responsible pharmacy practice.
