  1. Dispense and accurately fill prescriptions and medication orders for patients.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by counseling patients on their medication, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for patients.
  4. Stay updated on new medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical developments.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized patient records and medication profiles.
  6. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of medications and supplies.
  7. Follow all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the dispensing of medication.
  8. Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  9. Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
  10. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  11. Communicate with insurance companies and process insurance claims.
  12. Promote and participate in pharmacy services and programs, such as immunizations and medication therapy management.
  13. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  14. Provide guidance and support to patients on over-the-counter medications and supplements.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and overall pharmacy performance.
  16. Handle any medication recalls or recalls related to pharmacy products.
  17. Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  18. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  19. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety and sanitation procedures.
  20. Keep up-to-date with changes in the pharmacy industry and implement best practices.
