- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
- Maintain and update patient medication profiles and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Monitor and review medication orders for potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and timely preparation of medications.
- Participate in the ongoing training and development of other pharmacy staff.
- Stay up-to-date on new medications, dosing regimens, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Maintain and organize inventory of medications and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to promote patient wellness and disease prevention.
- Handle and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to medications or pharmacy services.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree.
Active State Pharmacist License.
Previous Experience Working As A Pharmacist, Preferably In A Retail Pharmacy Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws, Regulations, And Procedures.
