Rite Aid is looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Immunizer to join our team! As an enthusiastic and knowledgeable health professional, the RN Immunizer is a vital member of the pharmacy team and is responsible for providing immunizations to customers in a safe and responsible manner. The ideal candidate must be a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. We are looking for an individual with excellent clinical skills and a patient-focused attitude. Having a knowledge of vaccine recommendations, contraindications, and storage and handling of vaccines is a must. The RN Immunizer must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and other healthcare professionals. Working with a team and providing exceptional customer service is also a priority.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer vaccinations to customers in a safe and responsible manner.
2. Maintain knowledge of vaccine recommendations, contraindications, and storage and handling of vaccines.
3. Effectively communicate with customers, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Provide exceptional customer service.
5. Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team.
6. Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
7. Document all immunizations administered in the pharmacy’s records.
8. Monitor immunization inventory and ordering, as needed.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immunization trends and best practices.
10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities, as needed.
