Dispensing prescription medications: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing prescription medications to customers under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This includes counting and measuring medications, labeling bottles, and ensuring proper dosages are given.
  2. Providing high-quality customer service: The Pharmacy Technician will be the first point of contact for customers at the pharmacy. They will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, answering questions about medications, and providing friendly and professional customer service.
  3. Assisting licensed pharmacists: The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with licensed pharmacists to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy. This may include preparing medications, performing inventory checks, and verifying prescription information.
  4. Maintaining accurate records: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all dispensed medications, as well as any other necessary documentation required by state and federal regulations.
  5. Ensuring compliance with regulations: The Pharmacy Technician must be knowledgeable about all state and federal regulations related to the dispensing of prescription medications and ensure that all procedures are followed to maintain compliance.
  6. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment: The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for keeping the pharmacy area clean, organized, and well-stocked. This includes restocking medications, disposing of expired products, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
