Pharmacy Service Associate

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Pharmacy Service Associate to join our team at Rite Aid. The successful candidate should be able to provide excellent customer service while assisting pharmacists in providing medication and other health care services. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of medical terminology, prescription drug products, and pharmacy regulations. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain excellent customer service at all times when assisting pharmacists and customers.
2. Respond to customer inquiries regarding medications, health care services, and other pharmacy-related questions.
3. Process customer orders, enter prescriptions into the computer, and assist in filling prescriptions.
4. Follow all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of pharmacy.
5. Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
6. Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions and other pharmacy data.
7. Ensure proper storage and security of medications.
8. Manage customer files and update customer information as necessary.
9. Restock shelves and ensure pharmacy shelves are organized in an efficient manner.
10. Receive and process payments for prescriptions.
