Pharmacy Service Associate

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pharmacy Service Associate to join our team at Rite Aid. This position plays a critical role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the integrity of our pharmacy operations. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational skills. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing exceptional service to our customers and building lasting relationships with our pharmacy team.To be considered for this position, applicants must have a valid pharmacy technician license, a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting, and proven experience in providing exceptional customer service. Knowledge of pharmacy operations and pharmacy software is preferred. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
2. Ensure that pharmacy operations are conducted in compliance with all laws, regulations, and Rite Aid policies.
3. Assist in filling prescriptions and ensuring accuracy in all areas of the pharmacy.
4. Maintain pharmacy records and documentation.
5. Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any customer issues.
6. Answer telephone calls and take orders from customers.
7. Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
8. Assist in training pharmacy technicians and advising them on proper procedures.
9. Manage pharmacy software and other related systems.
10. Adhere to safety and security regulations.
