Rite Aid is looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our team. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and providing a positive patient experience. Our ideal candidate will possess a current pharmacist license, a minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, and strong leadership and communication skills. The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy operations, managing staff, and providing quality customer service to our customers. Responsibilities:
• Ensure all pharmacy operations are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including recruiting, training, evaluating, and disciplining, as necessary
• Ensure high customer service standards are maintained
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor and maintain the pharmacy's inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining appropriate levels of medication
• Ensure all required pharmacy documentation is accurate and up to date
• Maintain records of all medications dispensed in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Prepare and maintain all required reports and logs
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care initiatives
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care
• Monitor and educate pharmacy staff on the latest developments in the pharmacy industry
• Maintain and promote a positive and professional work environment
