Pharmacy Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Rite Aid. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and possess excellent customer service and communication skills. We are looking for someone who takes initiative and is eager to learn and grow as part of our team.The Pharmacy Intern will be responsible for providing support to the Pharmacy team in day-to-day operations. This person will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws related to pharmacy operations. Responsibilites:

1. Assist with day-to-day pharmacy operations, such as filling prescriptions, stocking shelves, and managing customer inquiries.
2. Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and state and federal laws related to pharmacy operations.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
4. Ensure accurate data entry and documentation of patient prescriptions.
5. Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
6. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
7. Handle cash transactions and customer payments.
8. Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.
9. Participate in training and development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
10. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
