1. Assist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
2. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and concerns.
3. Learn and adhere to all federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
4. Maintain accurate and organized records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory.
5. Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to expand knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures.
6. Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow and operations.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of medications.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
9. Demonstrate a strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, including drug interactions, side effects, and proper storage and handling.
10. Adhere to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times.
11. Assist with inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
12. Contribute to the overall success of the pharmacy by actively seeking opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
13. Uphold the company's values and reputation by maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times.
14. Attend team meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making processes.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager or supervising pharmacist.
