Pharmacist (Float)

1. Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to customers by accurately and safely dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper usage and potential side effects, and offering recommendations for over-the-counter medications.
2. Work across multiple store locations to ensure consistent and high-quality service to patients.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care and medication management.
4. Maintain a thorough understanding of current pharmaceutical practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and promote patient safety.
5. Utilize excellent communication skills to educate patients on disease management, medication adherence, and overall wellness.
6. Demonstrate a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to upholding Rite Aid's standards of excellence.
7. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians and other staff members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
8. Triage and resolve any medication-related issues or concerns, including drug interactions, insurance coverage, and prior authorizations.
9. Promote health and wellness within the community by participating in health screenings, outreach programs, and other initiatives.
10. Maintain accurate and complete records of all medications dispensed and provide reports as needed.
11. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on new medications, treatments, and healthcare trends.
12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff members.
