  1. Dispense and distribute medications in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all prescriptions are filled correctly and safely.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by educating and counseling patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  4. Maintain a thorough understanding of all pharmaceutical products, including their uses, dosages, and potential interactions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with new drugs, treatments, and medical developments to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  6. Adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
  7. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of medications and minimize waste.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including medication profiles and drug interaction screenings.
  9. Provide immunizations and other additional services, such as medication therapy management, to improve patient health outcomes.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy.
  11. Uphold Rite Aid's mission and values by promoting health and wellness in the community and ensuring the highest level of pharmaceutical care for our customers.
  12. Serve as a role model for other pharmacy staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  13. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and confidentiality.
  14. Handle any customer concerns or complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
  15. Contribute to the growth and success of the pharmacy by actively seeking ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and drive sales.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.

  • Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current State License To Practice Pharmacy.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Prescription Medications, Drug Interactions, And Proper Dispensing Procedures.

  • Prior Experience Working In A Retail Or Hospital Pharmacy Setting Preferred.
