- Greet and welcome customers to Rite Aid in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing and fulfilling customer needs and inquiries
- Operate cash register and accurately process transactions, including cash, credit, and gift cards
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking necessary supplies and cleaning equipment
- Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely service to customers
- Upsell and promote store products and services to customers
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and updating product displays
- Handle customer complaints and issues with patience and professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
- Stay informed on current promotions, sales, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by demonstrating teamwork and respect for colleagues and customers.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Cashier - Service Associate Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Service To Customers And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.
Cash Handling Experience: Previous Experience Handling Cash And Operating A Cash Register Is Essential For This Role To Accurately Process Transactions And Maintain Cash Balances.
Product Knowledge: A Cashier - Service Associate Should Be Familiar With The Products Sold At Rite Aid To Assist Customers With Their Purchases And Answer Any Questions They May Have.
Attention To Detail: This Position Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Transactions Are Processed Correctly And Inventory Is Properly Managed.
