  1. Develop and implement strategies for fundraising and development initiatives to support the athletic department and its programs.
  2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and other key stakeholders to increase financial support for the university's athletic programs.
  3. Collaborate with the university's development team to coordinate and execute fundraising efforts and events.
  4. Create and manage a comprehensive donor stewardship program to ensure continued support and engagement.
  5. Conduct research and identify potential major gift donors to expand the university's donor base.
  6. Work closely with coaches and staff to identify priority needs and opportunities for fundraising.
  7. Develop and manage fundraising campaigns and initiatives, including annual giving, planned giving, and major gifts.
  8. Provide regular reports on fundraising progress and successes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the athletics department and the university's development office to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.
  10. Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising and development within the collegiate athletics industry.
  11. Represent the university and the athletics department at events and functions to promote fundraising efforts and build relationships with potential donors.
  12. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create impactful messaging and materials for fundraising campaigns and events.
  13. Oversee and manage the athletic department's development budget.
  14. Mentor and supervise development staff to ensure effective and efficient execution of fundraising initiatives.
  15. Uphold the university's mission and values while promoting a culture of philanthropy within the athletics department.

Job Qualifications
  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Securing Major Gifts And Cultivating Relationships With High-Level Donors.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Sports Management, Finance, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Athletic Development Or Fundraising, Preferably In A Collegiate Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Motivate A Team Of Development Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations, As Well As Experience In Event Planning And Execution For Fundraising Purposes.
