- Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures as directed by the research team.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data using various software and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during experiments.
- Collaborate with faculty, students, and other team members to develop and execute research plans.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results, and assist in writing reports and publications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new research techniques and protocols.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
- Attend and participate in team meetings to discuss progress and findings.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant literature and advancements in the field to contribute to the research team's knowledge and growth.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders about project updates, results, and challenges.
- Act as a mentor and provide guidance to undergraduate and graduate students working on research projects.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and optimize research processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all university and department policies and regulations.
- Represent the university and its research initiatives positively in professional and academic settings.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Neuroscience.
Prior Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In An Academic Or Research Environment.
Familiarity With Various Laboratory Techniques And Equipment, Such As Microscopy, Dna Extraction, And Cell Culture.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects And Experiments.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Record-Keeping, As Well As Experience With Data Management Software And Programs Such As Excel And Spss.
