3. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, including creating job postings, reviewing resumes, and conducting interviews.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job details, and benefits.

6. Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and procedures, benefits, and other inquiries.
7. Assist with performance management processes, including conducting employee evaluations and providing support for performance improvement plans.
8. Collaborate with other HR team members to develop and implement programs and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive work culture.
9. Conduct exit interviews and provide support for the offboarding process when employees leave the university.
10. Stay up-to-date on relevant federal and state employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR processes.
11. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
12. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager.
13. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline HR processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
14. Attend training and professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in HR and to enhance skills and knowledge.
15. Represent the HR department and Rice University in a positive manner at all times.
