  1. Develop and implement strategies for prospect management and development research to support the university's fundraising efforts.
  2. Utilize analytical tools and techniques to identify and prioritize potential donors and prospects.
  3. Conduct in-depth research on individuals, corporations, and foundations to gather information on their philanthropic interests, giving history, and capacity.
  4. Utilize data and analytics to inform fundraising strategies and make informed decisions.
  5. Collaborate with the development team to establish and maintain a prospect management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including university leadership, faculty, and external partners.
  7. Lead and manage a team of development research and analysis professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and training as needed.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in prospect management and development research to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  9. Develop and present reports and presentations to university leadership and development teams on prospect management and research activities and outcomes.
  10. Represent the university and its values in all interactions with donors, prospects, and colleagues.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams within the university to support fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
  12. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive donor information.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Prospect Management And Development Research And Analysis, With A Minimum Of 7 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Fundraising And Donor Cultivation, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Fundraising Best Practices, Including Prospect Identification, Cultivation, Solicitation, And Stewardship.

  • Excellent Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data To Inform Fundraising Strategies And Decision-Making.

  • Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Donors, Alumni, Faculty, And Staff.
