- Develop and implement plans for structural maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety and stability of transportation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and address structural issues and propose effective solutions.
- Utilize advanced engineering software and tools to analyze and design structural elements.
- Review and approve construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with structural codes and standards.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry developments and advancements in structural engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and contractors.
- Prepare and present reports and proposals to management and other stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on structural design and construction processes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines in the execution of structural engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination on structural engineering matters.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and interns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of structural engineering activities.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the structural integrity and performance of transportation infrastructure.
Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering With A Focus On Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (Pe) License In The State Of Colorado.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Structural Engineering And Design.
Proficiency In Structural Design Software Such As Sap2000, Etabs, Or Staad.
Familiarity With Relevant Codes And Standards Such As Aashto, Aci, And Asce.
