- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with signaling systems and make necessary repairs.
- Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repairs.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for signaling maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding any issues or concerns.
- Perform routine tests and inspections to verify the functionality and reliability of signaling equipment.
- Train and mentor junior team members on proper maintenance and repair techniques.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments and external contractors to complete larger maintenance projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Railroad Signal Maintenance And Operations.
Knowledge Of Signal Systems And Components, Including Electronic, Mechanical, And Electrical Systems.
Familiarity With Federal Railroad Administration (Fra) Rules And Regulations Related To Signal Maintenance And Safety.
Ability To Read And Interpret Signal Diagrams, Blueprints, And Technical Manuals.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Signal Issues To Ensure Safe And Efficient Train Operations.
