
Manager, Paratransit Services

- Oversee the daily operations of the paratransit services, including scheduling, dispatching, and maintenance of vehicles.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the efficiency and reliability of paratransit services.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to paratransit services, including ADA requirements.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for service improvements.
- Manage and mentor a team of paratransit staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments and external partners to coordinate and improve services for individuals with disabilities and specialized transportation needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and advocacy groups to promote and enhance paratransit services.
- Monitor budget and expenses related to paratransit services, making adjustments as needed to ensure financial sustainability.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to ensure safety and compliance.
- Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all paratransit riders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve paratransit services.
- Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events related to paratransit services.
- Handle any escalated customer complaints or issues related to paratransit services.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of paratransit services.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of paratransit services.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Transportation Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Paratransit Services, Preferably In A Public Transportation Agency.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Ada Regulations And Requirements For Paratransit Services.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Collaborate With A Diverse Team.
Proven Experience In Budget Management, Strategic Planning, And Implementing New Programs And Initiatives.
