- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all facilities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
- Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly to prevent major repairs or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including equipment and supplies used.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and develop effective solutions.
- Coordinate with other departments and contractors to schedule and complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide timely and efficient solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in facility maintenance processes and procedures.
- Train and mentor new team members on safety protocols, maintenance best practices, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in maintenance and repair techniques.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, Which Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Skills In Core Subjects Such As Math, Reading, And Mechanical Concepts.
Relevant Work Experience: Previous Work Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Transportation Or Facilities Maintenance Setting, Is Highly Desirable. This Demonstrates Practical Knowledge And Skills In Maintaining And Repairing Various Types Of Equipment And Facilities.
Technical Skills: A Facilities Maintenance Mechanic Must Possess Strong Technical Skills In Areas Such As Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, And Hvac. These Skills Are Necessary For Troubleshooting, Repairing, And Maintaining Different Systems And Equipment.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Physical Strength And Endurance To Perform Tasks Such As Lifting Heavy Objects, Climbing Ladders, And Working In Confined Spaces. A Candidate Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Safely And Effectively.
