
Electronic Technician
Supports Bus Operations, Rail Operations, Transit Police/Security, and Maintenance Divisions in the maintenance of RTD portable and on-board electronic equipment used for daily dispatch and operator functions, data collection, closed circuit video capture and collection. Configure, test, and troubleshoot complex equipment using a laptop or tablet computer and associated diagnostic equipment. Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, signal, and Ethernet wiring for electronic equipment, including antennas and antenna cabling. Maintain electronic inventory records of all equipment installed or de-installed.
5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electronic equipment
5 years of current experience in wiring practices and applications used in data communications and DC voltage
Must be able to read and understand flowchart diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
