Technical Designer (Women’s Suits, Pants and Skirts)

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the design team to create technical sketches and specifications for women's suits, pants, and skirts.
2. Utilize your technical expertise to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, fit, and construction.
3. Review and analyze samples for fit, accuracy, and construction, providing detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement.
4. Work closely with manufacturers to ensure that all garments are produced according to the approved technical specifications.
5. Conduct fit sessions and make necessary adjustments to patterns and samples to achieve desired fit and aesthetic.
6. Identify and troubleshoot any potential production issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality garments.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technology related to technical design and garment construction.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and merchandising, to ensure efficient and effective product development.
9. Participate in fittings and provide input on design and fit to ensure consistency in brand aesthetic.
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical files and records for all designs.
11. Adhere to company standards and procedures, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
12. Mentor and provide guidance to junior technical design team members.
13. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and quality of the product development process.
14. Act as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's values and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
15. Contribute to the development of new design concepts and ideas, while also maintaining the integrity of existing designs.
