- Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date on all relevant regulatory and safety standards for products within the fashion industry.
- Review and analyze product specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address any potential compliance issues during the product development process.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain necessary documentation and certifications for products.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of products and production facilities to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Investigate and resolve any compliance-related complaints or issues from customers, regulatory agencies, or internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including product testing reports and certificates of compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry updates and changes in regulations and make recommendations for any necessary adjustments to product processes or procedures.
- Participate in industry conferences and workshops to stay current on compliance trends and best practices.
Extensive Knowledge Of Product Safety Regulations: A Senior Product Compliance Specialist At Pvh Corp Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Relevant Product Safety Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Cpsia, Reach, And Prop 65.
Experience In Product Testing And Evaluation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Conducting Product Testing And Evaluation To Ensure Compliance With Regulatory Standards.
Familiarity With Global Compliance Requirements: Pvh Corp Is A Global Company, So The Senior Product Compliance Specialist Should Have Experience With Global Compliance Requirements, Such As Ce Marking And International Labeling Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Information And Identify Potential Compliance Issues. The Candidate Should Also Be Able To Develop Effective Solutions To Address These Issues.
