Assistant Designer, Women's Cut and Sew Knits

• Collaborate with the Design Director to develop and execute creative concepts for the Women's Cut and Sew Knits department
• Research and analyze current fashion trends and market demands to inform design decisions
• Assist in the creation of sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design ideas
• Help manage the design process from concept to final product, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of designs
• Work closely with the sourcing and production teams to select fabrics, trims, and colors for each collection
• Attend fittings and provide feedback to ensure garments meet design and quality standards
• Assist in creating and maintaining product development schedules and tracking progress
• Conduct regular market and competitive research to identify new design opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and sales, to ensure cohesive brand messaging
