- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all PUMA facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and aligned with the brand's standards.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for employees.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards and address them promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute facility improvement projects.
- Manage the budget for facility maintenance and safety initiatives, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of facilities and safety staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Maintain accurate records of all facility maintenance and safety activities, including incident reports and safety training documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to facilities and safety, and implement any necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Act as the main point of contact for any facility-related emergencies and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve issues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting safety and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of facility projects.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of facility and safety operations.
Demonstrated Experience In Facility Management: A Successful Candidate For The Manager - Facilities & Safety Role At Puma Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Facilities, Preferably In A Retail Or Manufacturing Environment. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Building Maintenance, Hvac Systems, And Other Facility-Related Operations.
Knowledge Of Safety Regulations And Compliance: Puma Is Committed To Ensuring The Safety Of Its Employees And Customers, And The Manager - Facilities & Safety Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of All Relevant Safety Regulations And Industry Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Osha Regulations, Fire Codes, And Emergency Response Procedures.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Upper Management, And External Stakeholders. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Delegate Tasks And Manage A Diverse Team.
Project Management Experience: The Manager - Facilities & Safety Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Various Projects Related To Facilities Maintenance And Safety. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience In Project Management, Including Budgeting, Planning, And Execution.

Puma SE, branded as PUMA, is a German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories, which is headquartered in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. Puma is the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. The company was founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler (1898–1974).
