- Monitor and maintain the security of the store and its merchandise to prevent loss and theft.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention best practices and procedures.
- Investigate and document any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
- Collaborate with store management and law enforcement when necessary to resolve security issues.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to identify discrepancies and potential areas of improvement.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on security incidents, investigations, and prevention measures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention and make recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers, and outside agencies.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new Loss Prevention Associates.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement cross-functional strategies to prevent loss.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: A Successful Candidate For A Loss Prevention Associate Position At Puma Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques Such As Surveillance, Investigation, And Inventory Management.
Experience In Retail Security: Previous Experience In Retail Security Is Highly Desirable For A Loss Prevention Associate At Puma. This Includes Experience With Cctv Systems, Alarm Systems, And Physical Security Measures.
