Job Description

Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) is looking for an experienced and motivated Environmental Compliance & Program Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all environmental compliance obligations are met. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of environmental regulations, possess the ability to develop and implement effective environmental strategies, and be able to proactively identify and manage compliance risks. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about environmental protection and is looking to make a real impact.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:• A minimum of 5 years of environmental compliance experience• A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field• Expertise in environmental regulations, including air, water, hazardous waste, and environmental permitting• Knowledge of environmental compliance tools, such as environmental management systems• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills• A commitment to collaboration and an ability to work with diverse teams• Strong leadership and project management abilities If you have the qualifications and the drive to join a team of professionals dedicated to protecting the environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and policies.
  2. Research and analyze current environmental regulations to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  3. Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies, including environmental management systems.
  4. Monitor and report on environmental compliance performance.
  5. Work with diverse teams to ensure successful implementation of environmental compliance initiatives.
  6. Lead environmental compliance and program development projects.
  7. Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  8. Provide expertise and training to staff members on environmental compliance topics.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and community groups.
  10. Attend and participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and meetings.
