  1. Provide exceptional wound care and ostomy management to patients in accordance with established best practices and hospital policies.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of patient wounds and ostomies, including skin integrity, drainage, and infection control.
  3. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into consideration their specific needs and medical history.
  4. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and address any potential complications or barriers to healing.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  6. Educate patients and their families on wound and ostomy care, including proper techniques and equipment usage.
  7. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide compassionate and supportive care.
  9. Stay current on new developments and advancements in wound and ostomy care, and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
  10. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards, to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Montana.

  • Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (Wocn) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Wound, Ostomy, And/Or Continence Care.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Multidisciplinary Team.
