Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology and be registered and licensed by the ARDMS. The ideal candidate should have experience working with ultrasound equipment, have excellent patient care skills, and be able to think independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

-Perform ultrasound scans to diagnose and treat medical conditions. -Provide accurate patient care and ensure patient comfort during scans. -Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment using safety protocols. -Keep detailed patient records and documents of scans. -Interpret and analyze ultrasound images and results. -Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide patient care. -Monitor and re-calibrate equipment as necessary. -Update knowledge of new technologies and regulations related to ultrasound scanning. -Provide patient education regarding procedure and expectations. -Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
