Job Description

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for a compassionate and highly motivated Therapist Mental Health Associate to join our team. As an integral part of our mental health department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of therapeutic services to our patients, promoting mental health, and helping those in need. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide therapeutic services to patients, including individual, family, and group therapy.
  2. Develop treatment plans and goals based on individual patient needs.
  3. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  4. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure quality care.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documents.
  6. Educate and counsel patients and their families on mental health issues.
  7. Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
  8. Refer patients to appropriate community resources.
  9. Participate in regular clinical supervision meetings.
  10. Adhere to professional ethical standards.
