Supervisor - Activities Recreation

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an energetic and organized Supervisor - Activities Recreation to join our team. This important role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the activities and recreation services provided to our patients. The ideal candidate should have a passion for patient care and be dedicated to providing a high level of service to our community. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in activities and recreation related roles, excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing the best possible service to our patients. Ideally, you should also have experience in a healthcare setting and possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of activities and recreation services, ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with established regulations and standards.
2. Develop and implement programs and activities that are tailored to the needs and interests of the patients.
3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and activities in order to make improvements and ensure that they meet the desired goals and objectives.
4. Lead and motivate a team of recreation staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other service providers.
6. Manage the budget for the activities and recreation department and ensure that the costs are kept within the allocated limits.
7. Monitor and review patient feedback in order to make improvements to the services provided.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to activities and recreation services.
9. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
10. Respond to inquiries and complaints from patients and their families in a timely and professional manner.
