This role requires someone who is passionate about healthcare and has a strong understanding of staffing and scheduling processes. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our hospital is appropriately staffed to provide the best possible care to our patients.   1. Develop and maintain staffing schedules for all departments within the hospital, taking into consideration patient needs, staff availability, and budget constraints.
  2. Monitor and track staff attendance and availability to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and make necessary adjustments to schedules.
  4. Coordinate with HR to recruit and onboard new staff members as needed.
  5. Communicate with staff regarding schedule changes and updates, ensuring that all parties are informed and aware.
  6. Evaluate and approve time-off requests, ensuring adequate coverage and fairness among staff members.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff schedules, attendance, and time-off requests.
  8. Identify and address any staffing issues or conflicts that may arise, working towards timely resolution.
  9. Review and approve payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hospital policies.
  10. Stay informed of any changes in staffing regulations or policies and ensure compliance.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-departmental staffing needs are met.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve staffing processes and make recommendations for enhancement.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to staff and patients by addressing any concerns or questions related to staffing.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  15. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the hospital.
