Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Is Required For This Position, As It Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Training To Provide Effective Speech Therapy Services.

  • State Licensure And Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As A Speech-Language Pathologist, As Well As A Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • Clinical Experience: Prior Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred For This Position. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With A Diverse Range Of Patients, Including Children And Adults With Various Speech And Language Disorders.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Speech-Language Pathologist, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Current Speech Therapy Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current Speech Therapy Techniques And Methods, As Well As The Ability To Stay Updated On New Developments In The Field. This Will Ensure The Delivery Of High-Quality And Evidence-Based Therapy Services To Patients At Providence St. Patrick Hospital.
