
Senior Pharmacy Technician

This full-time position requires excellent organizational skills, a customer service-oriented attitude, and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.The ideal candidate will have a Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting. In addition, the Senior Pharmacy Technician must have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have an in-depth knowledge of medication dosage, drug interactions, and medical terminology.The Senior Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the pharmacy, entering orders, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities of a Senior Pharmacy Technician:
- Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including entering orders and providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure that all medications are accurately dispensed and documented.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of medication dosage, drug interactions, and medical terminology.
- Train and supervise other pharmacy technicians.
- Monitor and re-order inventory as needed.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Respond to questions and requests from customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the pharmacy is clean and organized at all times.
- Provide assistance to pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
