  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Schedule and confirm appointments for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Collect patient information and update electronic medical records accurately and confidentially.
  5. Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions.
  6. Process and file medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  7. Coordinate referrals for patients to other healthcare providers as needed.
  8. Assist with billing and coding processes, including verifying insurance coverage and submitting claims.
  9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  10. Communicate with patients regarding their appointments, test results, and other important information.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the medical office.
  12. Train and supervise junior medical office representatives as needed.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in policies and procedures related to medical office administration.
  14. Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
  15. Adhere to all healthcare and organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Medical Office Setting, Preferably In A Senior Or Leadership Role.

  • Proficient Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Policies And Procedures, And Electronic Health Record Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Abilities, With The Capability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage A High Volume Of Patient Inquiries And Requests.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience, Including The Ability To Train And Supervise Staff, Manage Conflicts And Difficult Situations, And Implement Process Improvements.
