Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Epic Applications Analyst to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly-motivated professional to leverage their expertise and experience with Epic applications to improve healthcare outcomes and patient experience.The successful candidate will need to possess a combination of technical and clinical knowledge, have a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. The Senior Epic Applications Analyst will be responsible for implementing, training, supporting, and troubleshooting Epic software applications.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of healthcare information technology experience with a focus on Epic applications, preferably in a hospital setting. We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as a valid Epic certification. The ability to work independently and in a team environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement, train, support, and troubleshoot Epic software applications
  2. Design, develop, and modify Epic applications and related software solutions to meet customer requirements
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Epic applications
  4. Provide technical support and troubleshoot Epic applications
  5. Monitor and maintain Epic applications to ensure smooth operations
  6. Identify and resolve application issues in a timely manner
  7. Create and maintain detailed documentation of Epic applications
  8. Develop user training materials and provide training to users on Epic applications
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with Epic personnel and vendors
  10. Stay up to date on new Epic technologies and features
